Project Overview
Complete groundworks package for three new build townhouses on a brownfield site. Services included site clearance, piling, foundations, drainage, and hard landscaping.
The Challenge
Former industrial site with contaminated made ground and highly variable soil conditions. Site investigation revealed mixed fill, old foundations, and underground obstructions. SUDS drainage was required by planning consent.
Our Solution
Site was cleared and contaminated material removed. CFA piling provided consistent foundations through variable ground - 36 piles total to 9m depth. Comprehensive SUDS system with permeable paving, soakaways, and attenuation tank. All drainage systems GPS-surveyed for accuracy.
Results & Outcome
All three townhouses now complete and occupied. SUDS system performing as designed. Building Control and Thames Water approvals achieved. Developer praised quality of groundworks preparation.
